Graduate Mechanical Engineer

Marshall Land Systems have opportunities for Graduate Engineers to join the Engineering team on varied and innovative work. We specialise in the design and production of deployable operational infrastructure and mission support for humanitarian, defence and security operations across the globe.
Your responsibilities in this role of Graduate Mechanical Engineer will include:
- Promote and uphold the company values and procedures.
- Promote and adhere to Health, Safety and Environmental best practice.
- Work to standards, processes & procedures, ensure rigour, resilience and continuous improvement in solutions, meeting all regulatory requirements, conforming to specifications, quality and certification requirements.
- Production of high quality technical documentation to support development and verification throughout the Systems Engineering lifecycle
- Support the technical compliance, verification and validation activities of all contractual, statutory and legal requirements.
- Work closely with the design, engineering, quality and production teams to ensure most cost effective solution is developed, compliant to requirements and legislation.
- Ensure solutions are tolerant of the environment in which they operate
Apply if you have most of the following:
- Sound understanding of engineering principles.
- Excellent planning and organisation skills.
- Good IT skills, including Word and Excel.
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with energy and enthusiasm.
- Ability to apply your skills and knowledge across a wide and diverse range of projects.
- Broad understanding of manufacturing techniques including, sheet metal fabrication, riveting, bonding and welding.
- Ability to work accurately and at pace.
Additional local needs
- Due to the nature of our projects, a successful applicant would need be eligible to be Security Cleared.
Based in the UK, with operations in Canada, Marshall Land Systems specialises in the design and production of deployable operational infrastructure and mission support for humanitarian, defence and security operations across the globe.
Other core services include the integration of complex systems into a range of vehicles for use by the military and security services including explosive ordnance disposal and battlefield ambulances all underpinned by a full in-life managed service provision to ensure customers‘ equipment is available where and when they need it.
