As a Graduate Marketing Assistant within Digital Services at Kainos, you will be involved in partner marketing (Microsoft and Amazon Web Services), public sector and healthcare marketing. Both of which are large scale projects of national importance.
You will gain a solid grounding in many aspects of marketing, branding and
communications. You will work as part of a team creating and delivering the marketing campaigns and activities that are aligned to commercial needs and designed to drive brand awareness/support recruitment/generate leads to fuel the sales pipeline.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Supporting the team on development and management of strategy, plans and budgets – you will assist in research, creation and day-to-day delivery of marketing plans, ensuring delivery is on time and within budget.
You will adhere to the budgeting process and help co-ordinate where needed.
Assisting in campaigns and content – support the team who work with marketing colleagues, sales and subject-matter experts across the business in the creation of campaigns and marketing content to drive brand awareness/support recruitment campaigns/generate leads to feed sales. You will assist in aspects of campaign implementation across a variety of channels to achieve objectives.
Contributing to reporting, accountability and ROI – you will contributing to marketing effectiveness and ROI reporting on campaigns and activities as required, supporting colleagues with elements of evaluation or analysis
Working as part of a team - you will proactively work and collaborate as part of the marketing team to deliver against overall OKRs. Supporting and liaising with internal stakeholders of all levels across the business as needed.
MINIMUM (ESSENTIAL) REQUIREMENTS:
Education to GCSE (Grades A*-C, including English and Maths)
Completed (or currently working towards) a relevant degree. We particularly welcome application from those completing a degree in: Marketing, Media, Broadcasting, English Literature, Language or Sociology
Good knowledge of marketing; willingness and desire to develop further expertise
A self-starter who is highly motivated, confident, focussed, disciplined with a drive to succeed, whilst upholding Kainos values
We all work in teams here in Kainos – a proven ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team environment; can-do attitude
Show resilience and persistence with the ability to learn from mistakes plus guidance and coaching from colleagues
Capable of prioritising tasks while operating in a highly competitive and pressurised environment while meeting deadlines in accordance with business requirements
Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Ability to cultivate ideas, utilising creative writing while holding to branding and messaging direction and strategy
Ability to think ‘outside the box’
Comply with all confidentiality and non-disclosure policies and/or agreements and ensure security of information at all times.
DESIRABLE:
Experience in developing and implementing marketing campaigns
Some understanding of marketing techniques including eDM, automation/nurtures webinars, organic and paid social media, SEO/search, digital advertising and physical events
Assessments are likely to take place in April 2023 .
This role will commence in May/June 2023
