In this Graduate Management Consultant job, you will be joining an Angel syndicate that helps start-ups to develop successful growth strategies in order to succeed and gain funding as well as long-term success. Backed and developed by the heads of one of the world’s fastest-growing start-ups over the past few years, they have a great experience with growth strategy and consultancy.
They work with start-ups who are aiming for hyper growth or even aiming to be a unicorn business. The company works closely with them to develop their strategy as well as build out all functions such as marketing, sales pipelines and demand funnels.
Despite being a small team, they have offices in London and America and are looking to grow their presence in the Middle East.
They are open to either an immediate start or a September start if you are currently a graduate
Job description – Graduate Management Consultant
In this consulting role, you will be based in London but will work directly with key clients in MENA. You’ll spend 6-month cycles leading start-up clients to develop their strategy and business functions. You’ll need to be strong with data and think analytically in order to spot business inefficiencies and build the business from there. Your business acumen will also be crucial to place them in the market, identifying the need for the product and positioning how the company will promote itself. Following this you will build out their sales and marketing pipelines and grow their teams, whilst ensuring the business is lean and efficient. Overall you’ll be essential for delivering hypergrowth to MENA-originated start-ups looking to scale their business.
Key responsibilities – Graduate Management Consultant
In this consulting job, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing new and existing client relations in the MENA region. An understanding of Middle Eastern culture is essential.
- Working with clients to understand their goals, and develop a strategy to achieve optimum growth
- Spending 6-month cycles working across departments, streamlining processes
- Creating sales and marketing documents which take into account strategic market positioning
- Analysing and optimising business departments
- Building your client's sales and marketing pipelines
- Business/investment strategy for partners
- Supporting the CEO on exciting projects where necessary
- Working across an array of investment projects
Job requirements – Graduate Management Consultant
- An understanding of Middle Eastern culture is essential
- A 1st or 2.1 from a top-tier university, ideally Cambridge or Oxford
- Can demonstrate the core values of efficient and excellence
- A real go-getter with demonstratable drive. Summer internships, past entrepreneurial ventures etc are highly beneficial
- Analytical mindset and an ability to pick up new technologies quickly
- Confident communication skills, able to speak directly with clients
