We also fully support our graduates on the Landscape Institute’s ‘Pathway to Chartership’ with an experienced team of mentors to help your chartership journey and financial support.


At Jacobs, we’re transforming intangible ideas into innovative solutions designing the future - today. As a graduate Landscape Architect based out of our Edinburgh/Glasgow offices you will too. Jacobs has long term contracts working on some of the UK and Ireland’s largest infrastructure and development projects and we want to grow our Water and Environment team to meet the ever-increasing demand within this sector. Our team delivers projects from concept stage through to planning and construction and we are looking for enthusiastic, innovative and flexible staff to join this highly successful team.


You will join a respected and ambitious company with excellent career prospects both locally and internationally. You will work as part of a diverse and highly skilled team of landscape architects, providing support and advice to a wide range of clients and working with a multi-disciplinary team. There will be opportunities to experience different roles within the Water and Environment team aimed at developing your career.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • A post graduate degree qualification in Landscape Architecture

  • A flexible and innovative self-starter who’s passionate about developing skills with an ability to adapt and prioritise appropriately whilst working on several varied projects at once

  • Enthusiasm and curiosity to apply skills to the solution of real-world problems

  • A well-rounded person – have you travelled around the world? Worked in a bar? Been captain of a sports team or volunteered for a charity? Tell us - we’re looking for people with interesting stories and experiences! We also encourage people starting on their second careers.

  • Flexibility to travel for work in the UK, ideally with a Full UK driving license

  • Autocad/ 3d design skills

  • Adobe suite

  • You must have the permanent right to work in the UK
