DPD is a Valuable 500 company and a Disability Confident Employer Job Description Purpose of Position Responsible for analytical activities within the Fleet department and providing statistical insight to the Fleet management team. To collect, monitor and study business data to create custom reports that help control costs, identify process efficiencies and ensure compliance with legal standards. Key Tasks/Areas of Responsibility Proactively collate, create and develop reporting and provide analytical insight to support and inform Fleet management decision making. Proactively look at existing processes and use statistical methods to identify areas for operational improvement and make suggestions for streamlining processes, using innovative automated solutions where possible. Assist, when requested and deemed necessary with presentations to the Fleet Management team, SMT and internal departments and attend any meetings when required to provide Fleet insight. Undertake specific projects, working groups or other duties as required by the Fleet management team in order to develop or enhance Fleet operational performance. Ensure robust supplier performance/reliability measures are in place via a suite of key performance indicators, management information packs and other associated data analysis. Support within the fleet function including vehicle funding. Qualifications What we are looking for; You will be Educated to Degree level ideally with a Mathematical, Analytical, Statistical Degree. You will be data focused, with the ability to use multiple statistical methods within Excel & Google Sheets to analyse large volumes of data. You will be a confident communicator and able to influence at all levels through both verbally and written communications. Someone that really enjoys resolving problems and demonstrates high levels of resilience, self-motivation and flexibility. High standard of computer literacy with a thorough knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite Someone who demonstrates the core values of DPD's DNA - Passion, Respect, Honesty, Flexibility, Hard Work and Accountability Additional Information Job Specifics You will have a comprehensive induction to the Fleet Department as well as a thorough induction to DPD.
