The Role
The Accounts Assistant role has the following duties:
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Reconcile and maintain bank and cash accounts.
- Process invoices and expense reports.
- Assist in accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve financial discrepancies.
- Provide support for audits and financial reviews.
- Perform general administrative tasks as needed.
The Candidate
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
- 1 years experience working within a finance role is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and concepts
