RSK Environment Ltd is looking for a high-calibre Graduate Environmental Consultant to join our growing Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) & Environmental Management (EM) team in Manchester (part of the EPD North team). We are looking for someone looking to pursue a career in EIA and the delivery and coordination of multi-disciplinary environmental and consenting projects.
We anticipate the role will be a hybrid one, involving supervised work in the RSK Manchester and/or Helsby office, with opportunities for working from home in a blended working arrangement appropriate for both the successful candidate and the EIA & EM team.

Our EIA & EM teams are currently supporting clients on a range of national and major infrastructure projects in the renewables, net zero, energy transmission and transport sectors before, during and after construction. Key Responsibilities
- Managing and overseeing EIA projects and other environmental studies, including successful delivery, client management and financial control
- Coordination of multi-disciplinary teams
- EIA report, EIA screening and/or scoping reports and environmental report documentation preparation and editing
- Identification of environmental constraints - fieldwork and data collection
- Working with regulators and liaising with clients;
- Pro-active business development to identify new opportunities and win profitable new business
Person Specification
- Graduate or Associate membership of IEMA would be desirable
- BSc degree level qualified in a relevant discipline
- Preferably MSc qualified in Environmental Impact Assessment Environmental Management or related subject
- Working knowledge of UK legislation and the EIA process
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent team player, with the ability to work autonomously
- An enthusiastic approach, willingness to listen/learn, can-do attitude and openness to opportunity
- Full UK driving licence
