Graduate Engineering Geologist
CCGI are now recruiting for our next intake of geoscience graduates to develop a career within a friendly, thriving, privately owned ground investigation contractor based in Gloucestershire.
Job Description
This is a predominantly a fieldwork-based role undertaking a wide range of engineering duties on sites throughout the UK.
CC Ground provides a robust graduate training and mentoring scheme to develop skills and experience for a proven career path within the company. Mentoring and support towards Chartered Geologist status is also provided.
The role will include:
· Working within a wide variety of industry sectors including environmental, infrastructure and communications across the varied geology of the UK.
· Collection and processing of site data.
· In-situ testing and monitoring.
· Project management of the fieldworks phase of projects.
· Communication with stakeholders.
· Bespoke industry training on the graduate programme
· Industry recognised external training
Essential requirements include:
· A BSc degree with related geology content. (Geology, Earth Sciences, Civils)
· Interest to develop a career as an Engineering Geologist.
· Interest in developing field-based skills.
· Excellent communication and organisational skills
· Willingness to frequently work away from home on an approximately.
· A full UK driving license and driving experience.
Remuneration
The role offers a very competitive package, including paid overtime, and represents a fantastic opportunity for the right candidates with potential annual earnings up to £30K.
