This vacancy is a role within the Competence Center Crypto & Security organization . Here you will be part of a dedicated design team focusing on research and development for future security applications ranging from single designs to secure sub-systems with strong end-to-end secure solutions.
For our Digital Design Team, we are looking for a highly motivated graduate to join our group. You will get an opportunity to be mentored by Senior Engineers and be involved in the design and verification of new cryptographic algorithms and systems.
Graduates will be offered a structured development program and technical mentoring to enable them to be successful in this role.
The responsibilities of this exciting and varied role will include:
Writing Verilog code to describe digital circuits
Simulating digital designs using latest state-of-the-art tools
Synthesizing designs using Industry standard tools and optimizing for area/power/speed
Writing System Verilog tests to verify functionality

Successful candidates require:
Masters or Honours degree in Electronic Engineering/Computer Science or related subject
An interest and the basic understanding of IC digital design
Preferably an understanding of Microcontroller architecture and some fundamentals of IC design
Excellent written & verbal communication skills

Contract: This is a full-time position with a permanent contract. However, we are open to discuss a part-time opportunity as well.
