Our Graduate Program:
Network Rail Consulting is currently offering an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Engineer to join our growing team based in Sydney. We are looking for someone with a background in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electrical or Systems Engineering. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your career and be part of a dynamic global rail consultancy business.
Our graduate program is spread across two years, crafted to help you bridge the gap between formal education and experience in the workplace. You will work with a diverse pool of talented individuals as well as gain exposure across a diverse project-based business. The training you receive will draw on a range of personal development activities, exposure to internationally renowned business leaders and access to programs designed to grow your professional skills, so you become technically advanced and business savvy.
What you will be involved in:
- A comprehensive structured graduate training program that offers on the job learning through a six-month rotation-based program over two years.
- Up to three structured learning visits to our parent company, Network Rail, in the United Kingdom.
- Opportunities to regularly network and learn from senior rail industry leaders.
- Formal learning and development, both in-house and externally.
- Participation in an employee recognition scheme.
- Access to mentoring and reverse mentoring programs.
- Further support as needed, tailored to your individual needs, including assistance with obtaining Chartered credentials.
About You:
The successful candidate must have/be:
- Currently studying or recently completed a relevant Engineering degree.
- Passionate about a career in engineering / consultancy in the Rail Industry.
- Strong work ethic and dedication.
- Great attention to detail and report writing skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and highly developed communication skills.
- Demonstrate strong organisational skills including the ability to manage time effectively among competing priorities.
