MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES IN THE BUSINESS:
As a Digital Advisory Graduate at Kainos you will work within client facing consulting teams which stretch across our three core sectors – Commercial, Healthcare and Public. Specifically, some of the areas you will support our experienced practitioners include; analysis, business improvement, strategy, and project planning.
As this is an advisory role rather than a software development role, technical expertise is not essential. However, we do expect you to have an interest in how technology can be used to problem solve and enhance how our clients operate.
Upon completion of the 12-month Early Careers Programme, you will have gained knowledge and skills to help transform the organization and set you on the path to becoming the next generation of leaders at Kainos. Fun fact - 11 of our 17 leadership team members have graduated from our Early Careers Programme!
MINIMUM (ESSENTIAL) REQUIREMENTS
Currently studying towards, or already obtained, at least a Level 6 bachelor's degree in a relevant subject
Ability to identify problems and ideate potential solutions
Ability to build relationships quickly
Ability to carry out responsibilities in accordance with company policies, procedures and processes
Personal time management and planning skills
Ability to deliver tasks within a given timeframe
Demonstrate a willingness to learn
Commercially minded
Good verbal and written communication skills with both staff and external stakeholders
We all work in teams here in Kainos – a proven ability of strong team skills, including taking direction from others, is crucial
Be amicable and approachable with a mature, collaborative style
Highly flexible, including willingness to work flexible hours at peak times
Desirable
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and make sensible decisions
Transferable leadership and teamwork experience (e.g. previous employment, university project, voluntary role etc)
Familiarity with JIRA, SharePoint or Workday
Experience with Office 365 Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) or equivalent
