Job description

We are working closely with a client who is looking for someone to join the business who has numerical and analytical skills, the role is fundamental to continued growth as a business and presents a fast-moving challenge that will practice your creativity and commercial flair along with analytical aspects.

The successful candidate will work closely with the data team to implement data-driven solutions, manipulate large datasets, and perform various statistical analyses to provide valuable insights to our clients. Strong communication skills and attention to detail are a must. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and benefits.

The role is flexible and launches further opportunities across the business, they are happy to provide training and are looking for someone who wants to progress and succeed within the role.

The main roles and responsibilities are to:

  • Identify business requirements and opportunities for data-driven insights.
  • Analysing complex data sets to identify patterns and trends, developing algorithms and models to support data-driven decision-making, and communicating insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Data cleaning and processing, database management, and data visualization
  • Create dashboards and other user-friendly reporting tools to aid.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Degree within a related field such as Maths, Computer Science, Economics, Physics etc. (2:1)
  • Organisation skills
  • Able to work as a team and autonomously.
  • Good teamwork ethic and positive attitude.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and to deadlines.
  • Numerical ability and passion for what they do.
  • Drive and desire to succeed.
  • Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Knowledge of data visualisation tools and techniques is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills are also key as the role involves working with stakeholders to
