SLR is a global leader in end-to-end sustainability solutions: providing clients with strategic advice and on the ground support. Building on the success of our long-established Carbon and Energy teams, we are looking for an Engineering Graduate to join our experienced team of consultants based out of our Manchester office.

The role

You will be supporting, and learning from, our team of expert consultant, assisting them in the delivery of a wide variety of project-related tasks.

This includes:

• Energy audits and surveys
• Feasibility studies
• Building and process optimisation
• Energy management, monitoring and targeting
• Energy and water benchmarking
• Carbon foot-printing
• Developing energy and carbon strategies, including net zero carbon/decarbonisation pathways

About you

We are particularly interested in hearing from applicants with an engineering-based degree. We are looking for someone who has demonstrable interest in developing a career in the environmental, energy or sustainability consulting sector, and who boasts strong analytical, interpersonal and numerical skills.

We also imagine you would have the following:

• Qualified to degree-level or higher, within a relevant engineering-related subject:

• Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative as well as working effectively as part of a team
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate directly with our clients
