
Graduate Consultant - Carbon & Energy Manchester, England
Job description
The role
You will be supporting, and learning from, our team of expert consultant, assisting them in the delivery of a wide variety of project-related tasks.
This includes:
- Energy audits and surveys
- Feasibility studies
- Building and process optimisation
- Energy management, monitoring and targeting
- Energy and water benchmarking
- Carbon foot-printing
- Developing energy and carbon strategies, including net zero carbon/decarbonisation pathways

About you
We are particularly interested in hearing from applicants with an engineering-based degree. We are looking for someone who has demonstrable interest in developing a career in the environmental, energy or sustainability consulting sector, and who boasts strong analytical, interpersonal and numerical skills.
We also imagine you would have the following:
- Qualified to degree-level or higher, within a relevant engineering-related subject:
Energy Engineering or Renewable Energy Engineering
Building Services Engineering
Mechanical Engineering
Electrical Engineering
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative as well as working effectively as part of a team
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate directly with our clients
