The Role
ONYX Insight is a growing technology and engineering organisation in the renewable energy sector. Our advanced sensing, software and analytics combined with our engineering experience are deployed on wind turbines around the world to maximise production and make turbines more reliable for longer, optimising energy production.
We are now seeking a Business, Economics or Finance graduate to support our Finance team. Working alongside our Global Financial Controller, you will be motivated by the opportunity to play a role in society's renewable energy transition process, and have a good academic understanding of a business finance function. Some relevant post-graduate experience will be an advantage, and you must bring a versatile and flexible approach to your work.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Analyst for Group Planning
- Assist the FC in overseeing both APAC and US regional financial activities
- Work closely with the FC and the wider Finance Team on special projects including scale up and the development of systems
- Play a key role in the annual budgeting process
- Assist the Group Financial Performance Business Analyst with Clockify, foreign exchange rates, and Netherland Intrastat submission
- Support the business functions to reach the best possible decisions and outcomes for the business
Person Specification
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data in a clear manner at all levels within the organisation
- Strong analytical capabilities.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
- An engaging nature, capable of connecting with co-workers, clients and industry stakeholders in a wide range of professional settings.
- Good first degree in strategy-related discipline (economics/finance/business)
- Excellent written skills.
- Ideally some post-graduate professional experience
