The role

Based in Reading you will join part of our Environmental Services group, the Archaeology team has an opportunity for a passionate graduate to support directly alongside experienced archaeologists. Carrying out archaeological field work management for a range of new and existing clients. Your day-to-day activities will include undertaking site visits, collating and analysing field survey data and producing high quality technical reports and environmental statements.

About You

• You will have an Honours degree or higher in Archaeology, Heritage Management or any other relevant subject.
• An understanding of issues relating to Archaeology, historic buildings and building surveying would be highly advantageous.
• Suitable experience in Archaeology fieldwork, such as excavations, geophysics, archival research or desk-based assessment.
• Experience using Geographical Information Systems (GIS) software would be beneficial.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively and proficiently to prepare high quality, concise technical reports. Demonstrating strong data analysis and scientific writing skills.
• All applicants must be eligible to work in the UK at the time you start employment.
