Our People Team is expanding as the incredible Zopa growth journey continues – and we’re excited to offer an entry level role to join our high performing team.
We’re looking for a tenacious, pro-active and personable graduate or school leaver who’s looking to begin their career in HR. This role will offer unparalleled access to each area of HR with support to gain their CIPD qualification via the apprenticeship programme.
This role will start within our Talent Acquisition function. Supporting all aspects of interview scheduling using our new automated tool whilst learning about our business, people processes and supporting on wider team projects. Over time, there will be the opportunity to move into other areas of the people team and gain further insights and experience.
Reporting initially to our People Operations Manager you’ll be part of a 20+ strong people team and provides support to more than 650 Zopians
A day in the life:
- Coordinating phone, onsite and video interviews for candidates with speed and efficiency whilst delivering a first-class candidate experience
- Being proactive and committed to building and maintaining strong relationships with both candidates and hiring teams, instilling trust and confidence and ensuring a positive experience through the full recruitment process
- Assisting in maintaining our recruitment applicant tracking system (ATS), ensuring all information is both current and accurate
- Assisting throughout the full recruitment process, including maintaining hiring documentation, offer processing and onboarding, ensuring compliance with internal and external policies
- Supporting with recruitment reporting, utilising data and reports from our ATS to support regular business and performance reviews and ad-hoc requirements
- Performing ad-hoc administrative duties in support of the Head of Talent Acquisition and wider TA team, and working closely with the wider People Coordination team to support at busy times
- Supporting the TA team with process improvement projects
About you:
- You’ll be a graduate in an HR or STEM* degree OR have just completed a STEM subject at A-levels (we love data, and keen for you to too!).
- You’re passionate about entering the world of HR and keen to soak up as much experience and opportunity as possible
- You’re continuously curious, you’re always seeking to deepen your knowledge
- You’re engergised in fast-paced environments, and are a “born organiser”
- You'll hold great communication skills and be able to liaise with stakeholders from across the business
- You’ll have an eye for detail, accuracy, and be comfortable picking up new systems and technologies.
- You will be a self-directed, problem solver with a burning desire to contribute.
- You'll be extremely proactive and solutions-focused; you’re always on the lookout for inefficiencies and can suggest creative ideas for improvements
- You are comfortable with ambiguity and enjoy changeable environments where you can implement innovative ideas!
- You'll enjoy being part of a team, displaying an ability to build relationships with others; you put people at ease and create understanding
STEM Relates to subjects such as Sciences, Technology, Engineering and Maths
£27,000 - £35,000 a year

This role will have access to the apprentice levy to complete their CIPD qualification.
