Graduate Analyst (Analytics/Product) - Jan 2024 London, England
Job description
We’re incredibly proud of our achievements and none of it would be possible without the amazing team here. It’s not just industry awards we’re winning, we’ve also been named in the top three UK’s Most Loved Workplaces.
If you embrace unconventional challenges, are unafraid to think differently and are driven to make an outsized impact, you’ll thrive here at Zopa, so join us, and make it count. Want to see us in action? Follow us on Instagram @zopalife
They’re a rare mix of creative problem solvers and number whizzes with a passion for translating numbers into business opportunities and delivering insights to drive decision-making. They're also strong communicators with the ability to story-tell with data to both technical and non-technical stakeholders alike.
We are kicking off interviews for our January 2024 intake with opportunities up for grabs across Credit Risk, Product Analytics and Data Science.
The interview process will be a 3 stage process as follows:
Timelines:
- The Talent team will be screening CV’s and reaching out for initial calls by the end of September
- On-site interviews will take place at our London office in early to mid-November. To make sure this is a viable option for every candidate, we’re happy to cover your travel costs.
- We’ll look to have final interviews virtually with members of our senior leadership team end of November and offers delivered early December.
We look forward to hearing from you!
What do we look for?
- Analytical thinkers with a passion for using numbers to drive business decisions
- Natural problem solvers – you see the opportunity in complex problems and look for solutions
- Conceptual thinkers– you have an ability to find innovative ways to solve analytical problems
- Curious minds - you’re always seeking to deepen your knowledge around different technologies such as Python, SQL, Tableau and Excel
- Collaborative workers - you enjoy joining forces with different people, sharing ideas and perspectives to deliver the end goal
Our ultimate goal is to nurture and develop junior talent with a focus on progression instead of rotation, unlike more traditional graduate schemes. This means that from day one in the role you'll have the opportunity to make real meaningful impact.
We have a clear progression framework in place with multiple specialist tracks available depending on your interest, skills and career aspirations. If product strategy is your thing you could progress into a Product Management role; if you’d like to stay closer to quantitative analytics and machine learning you might specialize in Credit Risk or Data Science.
Flexible working? Yes please!
At Zopa we value flexible ways of working. We understand the benefits of face-to-face collaboration and the importance of a good work life balance. Our teams work in a hybrid manner from our open-plan, riverside London Bridge office and the comfort of their own homes at a frequency that suits the team and the work they do.
Not only that – you'll also have the option of working from abroad for up to 120 days a year!* But no matter where you are, we’ll make sure you’ve got everything you need to thrive, both in your work and home life, from day one.
- Subject to having the right to work in the country of choice
