Graduate Administrator Cambridge, East of England, England

University of Cambridge
Full Time Cambridge, East of England, England 27929 - 32348 GBP ANNUAL Today
Job description

People are at the heart of everything we do at Pathology, so why not join our professional services team as Graduate Administrator and start supporting excellence in research and education. We can offer a welcoming work environment where you can feel valued, encouraged to develop, and supported to achieve your full potential.

You will work closely with our Teaching Coordinator to co-ordinate all elements of postgraduate administration for the Department from initial enquiries, admissions and funding applications through to monitoring reports and degree awards. You will act as Secretary to the Departmental Graduate Education Committee and will provide information and advice to postgraduate supervisors and postgraduate students on the policies and procedures relating to postgraduate admission, training, supervision and examination. You will also facilitate and coordinate other post-graduate activities such as seminars, conferences and talks. There will be competing demands and deadlines to meet, as well as maintaining a high level of attention to detail. Ideally you will have some relevant administrative experience in a Higher Education environment, with the ability to plan and prioritise your own workload. However, you will work within our friendly team, so will have a support network to help you along the way.
