Local Government in Cumbria has changed. The current six district councils and Cumbria County Council have now been replaced by two new unitary authorities - Westmorland and Furness Council and Cumberland Council.

About this opportunity
Are you looking for a role that is fast paced challenging and rewarding? We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated person to join the Information Governance and Complaints Team. You will be passionate about good customer service and enjoy dealing with members of the public.
Responsibilities include dealing with Freedom of Information requests complaints MP correspondence and supporting teams to learn from customer feedback.
The successful candidate will be joining a friendly and proactive team who are passionate about delivering a high standard of customer service and improvements. We are looking for someone who has excellent attention to detail and a high standard of communication skills.

If you are invited to a virtual interview this will preferably be undertaken using the Microsoft Teams software which is currently free for new users however if there are any issues with accessing this technology we are happy to discuss alternative arrangements prior to the interviews.
