We have an exciting opportunity for a Golf Operations Assistant dedicated in delivering memorable service all day every day. As a Golf Operations Assistant you will be facilitating the smooth running of the golf operation by meeting and greeting members and guests, preparing buggies, ensuring the retail and merchandise is presented in line with company expectation and offering a superior level of service.
What we are looking for:
- A good knowledge of golf
- PGA desirable but not essential
- Prepared to work outdoors in all seasons
- Ability to follow and implement health and safety requirements
- An effective communicator
- Availability to work in shifts including early mornings, evenings and weekends
- To act as a front line Ambassador for the Golf Club
- To assist clients participating in activities within the Golf Club at all times.
- To assist Golf Operation Manager in ensuring the smooth, successful upkeep of the Golf shop in line with the required standards.
- Ensure equipment and premises are maintained in a clean working order.
- Ensure accurate payments are dealt with in accordance with the resorts standards and the company’s cash handling procedures.
- To participate fully in job chats, reviews and meetings.
- Positive working relationships to be establishes and maintained throughout the resort.
- To ensure Procedures and legal requirements pertaining to fire, safety, hygiene and security to be adhered to at all times.
- To ensure all safeguarding procedures and provisions are adhered to with regards to professional standards
- Correct control and management of all records relating to Food, fire, and H&S legislation are adhere to
- Attend all training in line with Health and Safety and all other safe working practices
- Ensure all relevant documentation in line with Health and Safety and safe working practice is completed in a timely fashion.
