As a Barclays Go Lang Developer to work across with CSM (Central Secrets Management) Team this is an exciting role where you’ll be building reliable and scalable authentication and authorization, cloud security, and secrets management systems. A technical background, hands-on experience in developing critical system infrastructure and solid knowledge of secure development principles are necessary pre-requisites. You should also have strong problem-solving abilities, a broad range of skills in overlapping technical areas.

What will you be doing?
• Leading and take full ownership for the delivery of high-quality solutions
  • Building solutions with observability and reliability built into the design thinking at the outset.
  • Progressing changes through the full software development life cycle, from design to production release
  • Collaborating with end users to discuss priorities and detail requirements
  • Working with production teams to quickly and effectively answer to user issues
  • Responsibility for end-to-end platforms with reliability and maintenance thought through
  • Programming in GoLang

What we’re looking for:
• Expertise level programming in GoLang
  • Experience practical knowledge of automated testing tools e.g. Selenium etc.
  • In-depth knowledge of PKI/SSL/TLS, encryption, design patterns and algorithms
  • Knowledge Authentication and Authorization Protocols: JWT/OAUTH2

Skills that will help you in the role:
• Knowledge of relational and Document databases (MySql/Postgres, Mongo, etc)
  • Hands-on experience with microservice architecture,
  • Build systems, CI/CD (Jenkins, TC), version control: git, Kubernetes/OpenShift
