We are looking for a Gluing Assistant/Packer.
This is a great opportunity to join a skilled team who have achieved BRC AA grade certification. The Gluing Assistant/Packer would work alongside a Gluing Operator to produce printed Cartons of high quality in a busy production environment.
The candidate would work on our gluing machine Monday to Friday on a double day shift. Shift one is Monday to Thursday (6am to 2.30pm) - Friday (6am to 12pm). Shift two is Monday to Thursday (2.30pm to 10.30pm) - Friday (12pm to 8pm). This is rotating weekly.

Main Responsibilities-
- Assist on the Fuego gluing and packing line as required to ensure quality standards/checks are met.
- Whilst ensuring the product is effectively packed into correct corrugated boxes, carry out quality checks and provide samples according to documented instructions ensuring the satisfactory quality of the product.
- You will ensure good housekeeping at all times and that the machine area is cleaned down effectively after each job.
- You will inspect products for defects and issues during the packing process and immediately communicate any product issues to the Gluing Operator.
- You will carry out general duties as directed by the department supervisor/manager and effectively work within your team, assisting your colleagues where needed.
