About the role
Servicing corporate, governmental and non-governmental clients globally, International SOS, a pioneer & leader in International Health & Security Risk provides tailored support through our 29 Assistance Centres worldwide.
As a Global Threat Monitoring Security Specialist, Information & Analysis, you will undertake collection and processing of information & analysis to provide timely security assessments and advice to International SOS’ clients and internal stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
Collect and process security information through all-source research, processing and analyzing data whilst ensuring information is up to date, relevant and reflective of the current situation.- Collaborate extensively with the Content Services community of researchers, multimedia specialists and editors to deliver a shared vision of audience-centric multimedia digital production.
- Report and escalate security or disruption issues affecting International SOS’ clients in line with reporting guidance and thresholds.
- Conduct research into specific security-related questions to maintain operational planning and readiness as required by International SOS’ operational posture.
- Deliver safety and security training and workshops as well as engaging in client specific security intelligence consultancy tasks, as required
About you
Proven experience in security intelligence or related field: military, government, NGO, journalism; relevant academic studies.- Experience in writing to senior management and decision makers and of working in a client focused role
- International experience in geo-political analysis is an advantage
- Undergraduate degree (or relevant professional training) in a field related to security, risk management, international politics, or international relations.
- Master’s degree in similar fields an advantage.
- Excellent spoken and written English language, fluency in Chinese, Arabic, Russian, French, Spanish or any language is an advantage
- Some travel, sometimes on urgent request.
- Day shift work including occasional overtime based on operational requirements, rotating roster, mix of 9- and 13-hour shifts, no night shifts
