This role would suit an individual looking to develop their administrative skills working within a small team, including processing documentation and improving processes, while gaining knowledge of the UK immigration landscape.

Location: Carlton House Terrace, London, SW1Y 5AG plus hybrid remote working
Pay Band: B
Salary: £30,000
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the team in the processing of the Global Talent visa endorsement applications.
- Receive and prepare all Global Talent visa endorsement applications and endorsement review applications forwarded to the Royal Society by the Home Office for consideration.
- Ensure accurate record keeping and data collection/retention.
- Act as first point of contact for prospective applicants, providing guidance and support.
- Support the Global Talent visa team with the endorsement application process, including assisting Global Talent visa Managers in identifying peer reviewers, as required.
- Assist the team with the promotion of the Global Talent visa to key audiences, including assisting with presentations and participation in events and meetings to raise awareness and increase engagement.
- Assist with analysis of Global Talent visa information, as required
- Work collaboratively with others to support continuous ongoing improvement and implementation of good practice, including contributing to review of documentation, procedures and processes and scheme development/evaluation to ensure provision is relevant for the science community and is delivered efficiently and effectively.

- Share experience and ideas with others in the Grants Section and the Society and contribute broadly to the Royal Society’s mission and priorities.
Educated to degree standard or equivalent
