Job description
As a Global Security Operations Centre Team Leader you will supervise a 24/7/365 team providing analysis, incident handling, crisis management, and operational situational awareness in support to the bank across the region. The role is on a Monday-Friday shift pattern working early shifts (0700-1500) and late shifts (1100-1900).
As one of two GSOC Team Leads you will work with your counterpart, and the GSOC manager, to provide supervision and oversight of all GSOC operations and processes ensuring the best possible service is delivered.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversight of the daily operations within the GSOC, to ensure quality control and to ensure procedures are conducted in accordance with company standards.
- The point of contact for operational and procedural queries by both subordinates and those outside of the department.
- Support the GSOC manager with the day to day management of the GSOC and to ensure the operational cover remains 24/7.
- Identify and conduct systematic reviews of existing policies and procedures for the GSOC, authoring new documents as required.
- Assist the GSOC Manager with the recruitment, onboarding, and continual training of GSOC and AMC team members. This includes designing and delivering continuation training modules and tabletop exercises.
- Identification, development, and management of tools and applications such as ArcGIS and SharePoint to ensure all are being used to their fullest utility.
- Create and manage reports for high risk and overseas travel, pre-empting requests to ensure they are available when required.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- A few years of experience supervising staff in a Security Operating Centre or similar role.
- The ability to operate under pressure, whilst maintaining professionalism and standards.
- A demonstrated ability to drive performance and make process improvements
- Sound judgement and reasoning.
- Good communication skills and ability to communicate to senior stakeholders.
