If you are passionate, curious and ready to make an impact, we are looking for you to join the desk as part of the CEEMEA Cash Equity Sales team in London. The role offers you the opportunity to become an equities specialist covering a fast growing and rapidly evolving region, where you will learn something new every day. Market coverage will include Middle East, Central and Eastern Europe, Turkey and South Africa. You will be covering Institutional and Hedge Fund clients based in EMEA.
Job responsibilities
- You will cover large EMEA based institutional investors on CEEMEA equities
- You will work in conjunction with research to identify and highlight the most pivotal research ideas and enhance existing client relationships
- You will work to arrange analyst and corporate access into our EMEA-based clients
- You will work closely with our trading, ECM, PB and EDG desks to proactively pitch solutions/ideas to help our institutional clients.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- You demonstrate experience in a markets-based role, preferably in Equities
- You understand stock valuation and can understand its interaction with market moves and economics
- You bring computer experience with primary focus on Microsoft Excel; PowerPoint and Bloomberg
- Your excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, can engage and influence partners and stakeholders
- You are good at communicating concepts and ideas, also via documentation, and you are keen to defend their validity and tailor messages to different audiences
- You thrive in a fast-paced environment of real-time Market pressures and easily remain focused on client needs
- You're attentive to detail and easily adaptable.

This role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity. The successful candidate will therefore be subject to meeting UK regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence (as assessed by the Firm) and (where appropriate) approval by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority to carry out such activities.
