THE GIG

We’re looking for a Global PR Manager to sit within our Marketing team, based in Dr. Martens Camden HQ. You will be responsible for the development of the global strategic communication of the brand.

Reporting into and working closely with the Global Head of PR, the role requires strategic and creative thinking as well as the ability to plan, execute, prioritise, and succeed in a fast-paced, multi-layered environment.

As our Global PR Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Developing, managing and implementing a multi-layered PR and communications strategy
  • Working with the regional teams to execute the strategy globally
  • Presenting key global comms initiatives to regions and collaborate on localizing global concepts
  • Building the brands reputation and promoting product and marketing campaigns, for seasonal launches as well as key product, collaboration, and brand moments.
  • Identifying exciting new tastemakers, changemakers and PR opportunities that broaden the perception of Dr. Martens and reach new audiences
  • Management of the overall PR budget, including budget for individual projects such as global press and launch events
  • Developing strong collaborative working relationships with senior stakeholders across the business
  • Leading and developing our Global PR Coordinator

  • Relevant PR or Comms experience, ideally for a similar global brand with some in-house experience or a global-agency
  • A good understanding of the global media landscape

  • A genuine interest and appreciation of music, arts and culture and an understanding of the Dr. Martens brand essence and values.
