Global Off Highway Marketing Finance Manager
Description
We are looking for an experienced Marketing Finance Manager to join our team in Darlington. In this role you will report directly to the Global Off Highway Financial Controller and will be responsible for accounting, budgeting, financial controls and costs for the European Off Highway Marketing function.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Responsibility for supporting the financial accounting, reporting and analysis to support EBU Off Highway LOB totaling $1.8bn (in 2021), covering key markets like Construction, Agriculture and HMLD PSBU segments
- Involvement on strategic issues with LOB Finance Director and other members of the LOB leadership team.
- Close collaboration with regional finance teams (notably Europe)
- Role supporting LOB leadership in development of strategy this will include:
- Support the preparation of AOP
- Working with FC and FD to prepare Simulation
- Close coordination with SBP business leaders
- Preparation of strategic business cases for specific opportunities for instance; new product development and introduction; business initiatives; geographical investment
- Responsible for European Off Highway marketing budgets, reporting variance analysis, results and performance.
- Preparation of close the books process specific to Europe Off highway marketing
- Developing and presenting financial modelling and analysis in support of strategic business decisions, such as pricing and gross margin improvement projects
- Managing and improving processes for appropriate inputs and outputs of systems including PFR and DESA
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
- Financial Reporting, analysis, planning and forecasting experience
- Experience in Business Partnering
- A Degree (or equivalent) in either Finance, Accounting or a related field
- Working towards Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant, Chartered Accountant, or similar certification preferred
- Intermediate level of relevant professional work experience in the field of study

You will have an understanding of evolving trends, supply chain and experience in Ad hoc reporting. You will have the ability to take on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm. Having strong communication and collaborative skills will be a benefit as will your skills in optimizing processes and managing complex, high volume information.
