About the Role
You will oversee, develop, communicate, implement, and maintain all human resources aspects of international assignments, policies, procedures, and payroll within the Europe region.
These responsibilities include coordination of new assignments with respect to relocation, immigration, taxes, and ongoing support. It will be your responsibility to ensure service delivery in partnership with Lockheed Martin Entities, Immigration vendors, and our relocation vendor.
You will also provide country specific supporting documents and information to tax vendor, relocation vendor, Finance, Global Accounting, GM Tax Team, and Business Area.
Day to day responsibilities include:
- Coordinating, developing, and/or managing some or all the following: tax equalization, visa coordination, benefits coordination, housing, and compensation packages.
- Coordinate with relocation firms, outside vendors, and government and international agencies for all assignments within the Europe region.
- Works closely with third-party providers to ensure successful administration of services during the expatriate assignment lifecycle
- Represents the company as a prime contact on contracts or projects involving or requiring international mobility
- Interact with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organisations.
- Develops solutions to a variety of complex problems, referring to established precedents and policies, pursuing exceptions as needed
- Guide HRBPs on policy, framework and potential packages
- Support HR, Finance, Benefits, and Managers in completing the cost estimates
- Oversee specific region labour requirements to include Norwegian Working Regulations and UK Right to Work Checks
Required skills, qualifications and experience
- Complete understanding and application of principles, concepts, practices, and standards for expatriate management gained through relevant experience
- Knowledge of standard industry practices in assigned region
- Exceptional written and verbal communications skills, with fluency in English along with language(s) appropriate to assigned region
- Ability to travel in response to program needs
