We are seeking an experienced Global Logistics Co-ordinator to manage the day-to-day administration of equipment movements in accordance with client requirements and in line with the companies standards of service, quality, health, safety and environmental guidelines and in compliance with all international legislative requirements.
This individual will play a key role in ensuring company equipment is prepared, documented, shipped, tracked and delivered to its required global destination in compliance with all Customs and Excise requirements following controlled movement protocols for equipment crossing international borders.
The position will be based in Aberdeen supporting our global operations and client base.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
· Global Logistics - Preparation of all documents related to international equipment movements.
· Ensuring local and international equipment movements adhere to Customs & Excise and international legal requirements.
· Assist the Service Delivery Manager with the creation of Supply Agreements with key supplier(s) to provide cost effective and transparent management of equipment logistics.
· Assist the Service delivery Manager with creation of Import/Export work instructions/due diligence checks for logistics to ensure laws and READ compliance requirements are achieved.
· To provide out of hours support, as necessary, to assist field operations.
· Liaising between all stakeholders (internal, client and suppliers) to ensure work is completed to challenging deadlines.
· Monitor and analyse maintenance costs and develop strategies to control expenses.
· Maintain up to date records of the latest changes to any client based logistical requirements.
· Providing training/guidance and for any regional or local logistical support staff.
· Ensuring all activities are in undertaken in accordance with The Company’s Ethical Conduct policy.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
· HNC/HND minimum
· Minimum of 2 years of experience in a global equipment logistics environment.
· Experience shipping electronics, electrical, mechanical and radioactive tools.
· Strong understanding of customs regulations and logistics best practices are essential.
· COSHH and supervisory knowledge and certification.
· Dangerous good by air and sea.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Strong organizational and time management skills.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.
