We are looking for a Global Head of Workplace IT to join our global Workplace Experience & Support team as part of our Global Workplace Services (GWS) team. You will report into our Head of Workplace Experience & Support.
In this role, you will lead our Global Workplace IT team. You will be responsible to build a great workplace experience with regards to Workplace IT by providing IT support, Audio & Video, and Network according to the agreed scope, quality and cost. You will also secure Workplace IT’s input and contribution to our Real Estate, Design, and Build Process, making sure our new sites, rebuilds, and extensions have the correct prerequisites for a successful operation. In addition, you will lead the development of our internal guidelines and standards. You will work closely with band members in Real Estate, Workplace Build Projects, Facility Management, GWS Performance & PMO, Business Protection, Productivity Engineering, and FP&A. In addition, you will have many stakeholders, both internally and externally, including service providers and vendors.
What you’ll do
- Participate in the development of our overall Workplace Experience and Support Strategy and contribute to its execution
- Maintain and develop our Workplace IT Strategy and secure its execution
- Secure that we deliver IT services and support as per defined standards in all our locations globally
- Work actively to continuously improve the workplace experience and support
- Maintain and improve ways of working and processes for the function, making sure we continuously improve our performance
- Secure that we have accurate maintenance and replacement plans for our business-critical assets
- Build a strong Workplace IT team and secure succession
- Participate in the initial phases in our projects making sure our new sites, rebuilds and extensions have the correct prerequisites for a successful operation
- Lead the development of our internal guidelines and standards for Workplace IT
- Work closely with our sourcing teams to make sure we have the most suitable external suppliers in place
- Maintain close collaboration with stakeholders
- Drive innovations within IT to constantly develop the workplace
- Maintain knowledge of complex industry trends, current IT issues, and IT technology
Who you are
- You have 7+ years of experience in Workplace IT, including IT support, audio & video, and network medium or large-sized international company in the private sector in a manager position
- Understanding of budget preparation, financial analysis, procurement, and project management
- Ability to establish strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Strong leadership skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced, global environment
- Senior-level experience from managing teams and implementing IT strategies, guidelines, and routines for a fast-paced high-tech company
- Ability to establish strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Proficient in spoken and written English together with strong communication skills
- Accustomed to working in a fast-paced international environment where change is the only constant
