Job description
- Collaborate with senior traders to execute and monitor index exotic trades, ensuring adherence to trading strategies and risk parameters.
- Assist in analyzing market trends, researching investment opportunities, and generating trading ideas.
- Conduct trade analysis and performance reviews to identify areas for improvement and optimize trading strategies.
- Monitor market news, economic indicators, and regulatory developments that may impact index exotic trading activities.
- Collaborate with the research team to develop and implement quantitative models and trading algorithms.
- Maintain accurate trade records, performance reports, and other relevant documentation.
- Support the team in managing relationships with clients, brokers, and other stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in index exotic trading.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a solid understanding of financial markets.
- Knowledge of index exotic trading strategies, derivatives, and risk management principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced trading environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle complex financial data.
This role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity. The successful candidate will therefore be subject to meeting UK regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence (as assessed by the Firm) and (where appropriate) approval by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority to carry out such activities.
