This position is responsible for the development and maintenance of a Global Health, Safety and Security program, that will enable Vialto Partners to both comply with local regulation, and global standards.

Oversees processes and programs to ensure the safety and security of Vialto’s physical offices, and comply with jurisdictional regulations around OH&S.

Accountable for establishing and maintaining a program to ensure business and technology have plans in place to continue the delivery of business products and services in the event an incident interrupts normal operations. Ensuring the safety of our staff when in the office or at home

Major Responsibilities

Development of Global Health, Safety & Security Program (60%)

• Inventory of legal requirements in each jurisdiction in which Vialto has a registered business
• Development of Health, Safety and Security program standards which align with local compliance regulations as well as ISO standards
• Develop a risk assessment program to assess threats, impacts, and establish priorities to ensure program is effective
• Oversee local Health & Safety officers in local offices, ensuring that regular tests and assessments are conducted

ISO Certification (20%)

• Oversee certification process for ISO 45001 certification
• Oversee all regulatory audits associated with Health, Safety and Security

Miscellaneous (20%)

• Liaise with external vendors to respond to ongoing queries and issue resolution
• Liaise with facilities and local office teams to oversee Health, Safety and Security infrastructure in all Vialto facilities. This includes:
  • First Aid/CPR/AED/Fire Warden appointments and training
  • Evacuation plans for impaired individuals
  • Required signage and instructions
  • Security doors and screening
  • Pandemic/Covid response
• Assist with other Company and business projects, initiatives (eg, answers to client questionnaires) or general administrative duties. Prioritize work to meet deadlines.
• Support with social media tools, research, training registration, IT support, minor project management.
• Provide support for and assist with adoption of changes to company technology, procedures and policy.

Education: Minimum of a University/College degree with a focus in corporate/public security, health & safety. The equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered. CPP, PSP designation or willingness to obtain is a plus.

Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience as a senior, Health, Safety and/or Security professional working in a corporate or professional services environment.

Experience in managing health & safety programs is a must, as experiences in physical security implementation and relevant ISO certification in org health and safety.
