Job Title: Global Data Manager
Location: Edinburgh or Birmingham or Bristol or London
Role Purpose

The Global Data Manager will be the single point of contact between the Client and CBRE, accountable for the delivery of data management (lease administration), MI & reporting scope of service. Global Data Manager will be accountable for the relationship management and responsible for ensuring the account fulfils its requirements and obligations as set out in the contract.
The role will provide an exciting opportunity to join a CBRE Contracted Accounts team and work with some of the most interesting and dynamic accounts within the Financial Services industry. This role will be based in Edinburgh and the successful candidate will work as part of a multi-disciplinary account team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Designated single point of contact & escalation point for Client & CBRE contacts, accountable for the delivery of data management, MI & reporting scope of service
  • Ownership of client relationship management and KPI
  • Coordinates work of regional data managers, lease administration and business analyst teams globally
  • Accountable for portfolio and lease administration data integrity and governance
  • Global owner of client portfolio reporting - accountable for accuracy, completeness and timeliness of all client outputs
  • Effectively manages relationships with the client real estate teams and transaction partners to ensure data management processes are fully followed
  • Responsible for the continuous improvement of the data management processes on the account and driving a culture of continuous improvement
  • Actively supports the client and the account team in driving the key priorities and initiatives, including transformation projects
  • Support building technology roadmap for the account; Identify process and technology improvement opportunities that may deliver sustained and measurable business benefits
  • Coordinates required training to client real estate teams and transaction partners
  • Leads management of call off projects and initiatives
  • Identifies pull-through opportunities and engaging the appropriate line of business for opportunities

Person Specification/Requirements
  • Ideally you will have experience in Corporate Real Estate, Lease Administration, Portfolio or Performance Reporting or Analysis is required with a degree in an appropriate field
  • Strong analytical skills, project management skills and ability to prioritize required
  • Ability to build rapport quickly, delegate tasks and manage a team as well as client’s expectations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills – must be able to communicate ideas both verbally and in written form in a clear, concise, and professional manner appropriate to an audience, including executive levels
  • Strong MS Office skills including data interrogation and visualisation
  • Experience in managing and supporting projects within an organisation
  • Ability to problem solve and provide a variety of options in range of situations
  • Understanding of data platforms and approach to data management with a keen interest in technology trends
  • Working knowledge of real estate applications is desirable
