Job description
We are a busy, glass manufacturing business looking for a new operative to become part of our production team. This would involve learning the full process of architectural glass manufacturing, including preparing, and assembling glass using machinery. You would be working under our experienced team, assisting in the production pipeline. This would be from our factory situated in Broadstairs. The successful candidate will be hardworking, reliable, and motivated with the ability to communicate in written or verbal English, Computer literacy is required.

Duties will include:
- Operating glass manufacturing machinery in a safe manner (Training Provided)
- Loading and unloading material deliveries
- Lifting heavy goods carefully and safely
- Basic understanding of engineering drawings and accurately reading production sheets
- Good understanding of measurements
- Quality control of all finished products
Schedule: 40 hours a week - 6:00 am to 2:00pm - Monday to Friday with occasional overtime required - Initial 3-month probation and training period - Salary dependant on experience
