What you'll do

On a day-to-day basis you will be:

  • Owning the proposition and developing this to a marketing leading proposition that delivers against targets as a part of our 5 year plan.
  • To drive the Customer team in the development, implementation and performance measurement of the different gifting propositions.
  • Manage the set-up of Gifting campaigns and creatives, working with a variety of key stakeholders’ products teams and with third party agencies.
  • Manage the gifting operational budget and allocate resources effectively to achieve business objectives.
  • Working alongside Performance & Planning colleagues to deliver media that drives awareness and sales for gifting propositions.
  • Support developing creative campaign activations and working closely with our brand team to ensure all creative content is aligned to brand guidelines.
  • Support in the optimisation of our sales & comms strategy across channels.
  • Own the day-to-day relationship with key fulfilment partners, customer service and creative agencies to manage campaign set up for key occasions and gifting opportunities.
  • Own the reporting of performance of all digital and shop sales channels and identifying the greatest areas of growth & opportunity for Greggs.
  • Use marketing insight and gifting industry trends to help identify potential new ideas to improve our gifting proposition, ensuring the proposition remains competitive and relevant.
  • Working with our insight teams to gather consumer feedback to inform future activity.
  • Brief and manage all internal sign off processes for new creative asset approval.
  • Work with our retail comms team to ensure any shop-based retail activity or promotions are appropriately planned and communicated.
About you

  • A strong understanding of Marketing, e-Commerce & Retail Operations
  • An ability to multi-task and manage priorities and deadlines.
  • The drive to be a self starter who is able to work both independently and collaboratively within teams.
  • Experience in managing budgets and allocating resources effectively.
  • Experience of, and the ability to multi-task and work with multiple priorities calmly and at pace both internally and with agencies and third parties.
  • A results focus with strong planning, prioritising and organisation skills

  • Advanced IT skills including Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams

  • Advanced Excel and analysis platform skills to support with analysis and the ability to work with large data sets

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience of analysing information and issues to identify current and potential problems and develop and implement workable solutions

  • A good communicator, able to operate at all levels clearly and concisely with the proven ability to communicate complex data terminology so it is understood by the data owner and the business

We have a fantastic opportunity to join the Planning & Performance team at Greggs.

You’ll be a key member of our the team within our Brand Function, and will take an ownership role over our B2C proposition from an end to end perspective. You’ll ensure our customer experience is as good as it can possibly be whilst owning B2C operationally, including day to day operations, logistics, supplier management, creative development and reporting.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive gifting strategy that aligns with our brand values and customer needs. You will be responsible for all parts of our B2C customer experience ensuring that our physical and digital gifting propositions maximises their potential - through smooth-running of all logistics including partners, fulfilment, customer service, budget/ cost centre management and performance assessment.

You’ll be working with teams across the Customer function and wider business in order to facilitate this growth and performance. You’ll have a unique opportunity to work with internal teams and resources to evolve the proposition and how we deliver a market leading solution to our customers. You will also manage the set-up of various Gifting campaigns working across different team, stakeholders, and external partners to help deliver various activations, as well as working closely with the brand team to ensure all creative content is aligned to guidelines and delivered on-time.

In order to maximise this opportunity, you’ll be someone who is able to balance between thinking & doing. You’ll be confident interrogating information leading to an understanding of behaviour at a customer level and across channels, using this to inform decision making as well as clearly summarising this to create a performance narrative for others.

A key part of your role will involve strategic & stakeholder relationships and how you can collaborate and deliver through others, whilst also personally manging day to day operations including reporting, analysis, measurement and performance.
