Job Description*
Make your mark as a Geophysicist Intern at Gardline!*
We are looking for student Geophysicists to undertake a 12-month internship to support the processing and interpretation of shallow geophysical data and preparation of associated reports and deliverables.
Project types range from traditional site survey work to large scale offshore renewable developments. These can include specific surveys aimed at potential UXO threats, or cable route aspects of large developments.
As well as data acquired by our fleet of multi-role survey vessels, we also carry out interpretation and reporting of third-party datasets from elsewhere providing plenty of opportunities gain valuable work place experience, learning and personal growth.
Whilst the position will be based from our offices in Great Yarmouth, the position also provides the opportunity to gain valuable offshore experience with an expectation of completing circa 120 days offshore during the internship period. You will need to have the right to work in the UK for the duration of the internship and be available when you 2nd year of university is complete.
Full training will be provided with this internship, offering a great experience and skillset to be able to build upon after graduation.

You can make your mark as a Geophysicist Intern if you have:
- Enthusiasm, ingenuity and personal drive
- Have successfully completed years 1 & 2 of relevant degree in an earth science related subject
- Have the right to work in the UK for the duration of the internship
- General understanding of the marine survey industry
- Team spirit and collaborative work ethic

- Fulltime job: The position of Geophysicist Intern is a fulltime role, 37.5 hours per week
