General Service Assistant
Job description
As a Food Service Assistant at Sodexo in {insert location}, you’ll help with the preparation and serving of our vibrant menu whilst ensuring all working areas are clean and tidy. Setting up for our executive events and ensuring a high standard of service is key, in this role. Join Sodexo and be part of something greater. What you’ll do:
- Assist in setup and serving of hot and/or cold foods
- Clean and sanitise equipment and workstations
- Set up and breakdown of service stations
- Interact with clients, upholding that Sodexo 5* Service
What you bring:
- A passion for providing nutritious and delicious meals
- Positive attitude, professionalism, and respect for others
- Basic food-handling skills is desirable but a great attitude and willingness to learn also ticks the box
- Ability to work in a standing position for prolonged periods of time (up to 8 hours)

Main Responsibilities- Serving food and beverages in a professional manner with high levels of customer service
- Cleaning tables and service areas
- Ensure all documentation procedures are followed accurately as required
- Serving food and/or beverages to patrons
- Stocking service areas with supplies such as coffee, food, tableware
- Other tasks as directed by the Managers or Head Chef
- Assisting in Food preparation where required
