We are recruiting for anOut of Hours General Radiographic Helpers,who wishes to join #TeamIOWNHS. This is a truly exciting time to join our team as we work towards launching our newly developed £10m Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) that will deliver first-class diagnostic care to our community.

The new centre will have the ability to deliver joined up diagnostic care, and with increased capacity this will ensure our patients will have faster access to treatment, earlier diagnosis, and improved outcomes.

Our Radiographic Helpers are active members of the Diagnostic Imaging team, assisting Radiographers with the provision of clinical care of patients in a safe environment, out of hours.

To assist the out of hours Radiographers by booking in patients on CRIS from the Emergency Department, UTC, extended GP service and ward inpatients.

To attend patients on arrival, for out of hours appointments including MRI, Ultrasound and GP walk in patients.

Regularly monitor the cleanliness of the Diagnostic Imaging waiting room.

Responding to calls requiring the out of hours Radiographer and communicating information from clinical staff to the out of hours Radiographers.

Responding to the Radiology bleep often as the first point of contact.
