Title: General Operator- Corrugation
Location: HS Marston Aerospace LTD, Wolverhampton
Labour Grade: Grade 4
Position summary:
The successful candidate will report to the Corrugation Team Leader. The role will include operating guillotine machinery, inspection using variety of measuring equipment (vernier, micrometer gauges, fixed position gauges and rolling gauge). The candidate must be flexible and able to work shifts (AM/PM) to support the business.
Responsibilities:
- Operate guillotine machines during the shift, which produces fin for the heat exchange assembly.
- Carry out quality checks for visual inspection of the parts.
- Carry out measurements as per operation book and when required.
- Daily TPM checks of the equipment.
- Ensuring calibration of the used equipment is up to date and kept in date.
- Daily 5S activities are carried out at the start and end of shift, as a part of daily work.
Requirements:
- Qualification not required.
- Prior experience in the manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
- Able to work on their own or as a part of the team.
- Ability to communicate with all levels of staff and team members.
- Flexibility would be advantageous.
