General Operative Labourer
PRS People looking for a motivated and reliable General Operative Labourer to join large manufacturing plant based in Leeds.
As a General Operative Labourer, you will be responsible for a range of duties including but not limited to labouring, operating machines, scraping, sweeping, using shovels, operating bed cleaning machines, using wire cutters, performing repetitive duties, and changing and adjust chains for mechanical lighting purposes.
Shift: Monday-Friday
07:30-16:30 Monday-Thursday
07:30-16:00 Fridays
Starting pay rate: £11.00 p/h
Regular Overtime is available.
Responsibilities:
- Operate machinery and equipment such as bed cleaning machines, wire cutters, and other related tools
- Perform physical labour duties such as scraping, sweeping, and using shovels
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Perform repetitive duties as assigned
- Ensure that all products meet quality standards
- Work in a team environment to achieve production targets
- Follow health and safety procedures and guidelines
- Working in full PPE equipment, as some of the duties might be outside the manufacturing plant
Requirements:
- Past Labouring experienced
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labour duties
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Experience in manufacturing or construction industry is preferred but not required
Temp – Perm position with additional multiple internal training available and other benefits such as Annual Production Bonus after successful probation period.
