Job description

We're a wholesale herb manufacturing company and we love what we do. We serve health care practitioners across Canada.

We’re looking for an experienced General Manager to deliver ROI and scale our company to the next level. The successful candidate will oversee and execute company projects, manage a team of supervisors, manage money, and report data. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to think strategically.

Duties:

Manage Projects

• Oversee the company’s projects, ensuring they succeed and help achieve the company’s mission
• Projects: E-commerce, NHP development, MRP system, marketing, digital transformation
• Manage our tech infrastructure, including keeping hardware and software secure and updated
• Initiate new projects that generate ROI, such as the acquisition of new large customer accounts

Manage People

• Manage the team of supervisors, ensuring they are meeting goals and KPIs
• Handle any HR and administration related to team management, including onboarding
• Codify all our operations into SOPs, administrative and operational tasks, problem solving
• Manage up as needed to achieve company’s mission

Manage Money

• Manage digital receipt processing and storage
• Pay bills and taxes, file returns

Report Data

• Provide regular reports that track key metrics (ie. financial, sales, shipping, production, efficiency)
• Based on the data, make and execute on recommendations

Nice to have:

• Experience managing a team and having a laser-focus on delivering ROI
• Entrepreneurial mindset, experience running your own business or working at a start-up
• Knowledge or experience in the herb industry and NHP industry
• Ability to visit Toronto manufacturing facility, likely most useful when starting/training
• We’re ideally looking for our company’s Leslie Knope or Ben Wyatt

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $90,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
