We are looking for a General Labourer to join our team within Score Group based at our facility in Peterhead.

About the role
The Labourer will be responsible for the finishing off and palletising/packing of all valves and associated equipment that is processed through the facility.
They will also be expected to support the Valve Technicians in the workshop and carry out transport duties.

Primary responsibilities
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company policies, procedures and standards.
- Assist with the finishing off and packaging of various actuators, valves and components
- Palletising/packing valves in accordance with company procedures.
- Assist the onsite painter by prepping valves for shot blasting/painting
- Fitting and removal of test flanges to valves ready for pressure testing
- Co-ordinate and carry out transport arrangement to our clients.
- Carry out basic woodwork skills i.e. repairing wooden pallets/crates
- Oversee and assist with the workshop housekeeping ensuring a high standard of cleanliness.
- Ensure all external areas of the facility including the car park, goods in/out are kept tidy at all times and are safe.
- Ensure waste bins are emptied and disposed of as per Score procedures and work instructions.
Experience
- Demonstrable experience in a labouring type role in a workshop environment.
- Previous Experience of shot blasting.
Behaviours and skills
- Full and clean UK driving licence
- Have effective communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of shot blasting
- Good organisational skills.
- Have a positive approach towards all scopes of work and be flexible to change.
- Ensure all work is carried out to the highest standard of quality at all times.
