Job description
Required for our busy Aberdeen dry dock and fabrication facility.
Stores Assistant/Driver
The successfully candidate should ideally meet the following scope: -
- ensuring workshop and yard areas are clean and tidy,
- Assisting engineering work and projects
- cutting and dressing of steelwork with the use of workshop equipment, saws and grinders,
- assisting fabrication works and projects
- carrying out fire watching duties on welding projects and vessel mobilisations,
- using workshop machinery such as drills and saws,
- assisting with docking and undocking procedures,
- Assisting in dispatch of goods out
- Unloading and organising deliveries to Stores
- driving duties for delivery or collection of materials and equipment,
- FLT driving licence is desirable but not essential.
