General Kitchen Assistant Job Description.
The focus is to support the Culinary Team in providing world class catering for our executive clients dining within the hospitality areas.
We are looking for confident, dedicated, and hardworking individuals, loaded with drive and determination. Candidates who have stamina to work in high pressure and busy situations.
Duties may involve; plating up starters and desserts to a set specification, decorate and garnish food, principally to prepare food in a hygienic manner. Requiring attention to detail and interpersonal skills
As far as possible each Kitchen Assistants will be allocated to work in the same kitchen for each game. However, business demands may require you to relocate to another area for any Match Day.
Primary Activities:
· To help and support the Chefs to deliver the menu meals according to a set specification sheet.
· To support the Chefs to maintain a smooth operation of the business.
· Have a basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene and safety standards. Assisting in the maintenance of a clean working environment, in pursuance of Health and Safety conformance
· To play an active role in the cleanliness and order of the kitchen, pantry, and stores.
· Be committed to the success of the Football Club, by delivering Manchester United’s Visions and Values, whilst also adhering to and help enforce all Health and Safety standards, company rules, regulations, and policies always.
· Maintain a high level of personal hygiene and to ensure that correct clean uniform and personal protective equipment are always worn.
· Any additional duties as reasonably assigned by the venue culinary team.
· Subject to Match Day performance review by the Staffing Department

Job Type: Part-time
Salary: £10.00-£13.00 per hour
