UWE Hospitality service provides food and drink to over 100,000 customers a week. Spread across 3 campuses we operate 15 outlets, and our focus is delivering great value for money offer and a fantastic service. We are looking for customer-focused individuals with a proactive and detailed approach to their day-to-day work.
A background in face to face customer service, the experience of working as part of a large and interdependent department within a complex organization and being able to demonstrate experience of working in a similar catering role are all essential. From working within your designated unit to helping out during our events, the standards expected of the Hospitality service will show through your commitment, expertise and passion to achieve the very best in everything that you do.
This post is based at our City Campus in Bristol city centre which comprises of Bower Ashton Studios, Arnolfini, Spike Island and Watershed and is home to UWE Bristol's creative and cultural subjects. Through a combination of University sites and partnerships with creative and cultural organisations in the city, we have developed a network of cultural and creative spaces. These enable our students and staff to develop their professional practice in inspiring learning environments as well as provide opportunities for creative collaboration and networking.

This is a permanent, full time role, working 37 hours per week on a term time only basis for 36 weeks of the year. The salary shown reflects this working pattern.

UWE Bristol is a campus-based University and it is important for our success and the delivery of an outstanding experience for our students that our campuses are dynamic and vibrant places to learn and spend time. This role is therefore campus based for all of your time.
The University’s normal practice is that new appointments will be made at the starting point of the grade.
