Job description
Responsibilities:
- Operate power tools and hand tools for various farm tasks, such as repairing fences, building structures, and maintaining equipment
- Perform animal care duties, including feeding, watering, and cleaning animal enclosures
- Assist with heavy lifting and manual labor tasks, such as loading and unloading supplies or equipment
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair farm equipment as needed
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the farm premises, including garden areas
Qualifications:
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating quantities of materials or feed
- Ability to operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively
- Strong physical stamina and ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labor tasks
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair farm equipment
- Experience with animal care is preferred but not required
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
