Responsibilities
This role will involve but not be limited to: -
· Assisting the farmer with the day to day running of the farm as directed.
· Bedding up cattle.
· Cleaning cattle sheds.
. Herding cattle around the farm.
· Cleaning farm equipment and machinery.
· Mending and placing fencing and setting up fencer equipment.
· General day to day maintenance.
· Taking sole responsibility of the farm when the farmer is away.
· Helping to deal with cattle vaccinations.
. Spraying and removal of ragwort.
Full training will be provided on the job.
Hours
Full time and part time applications will be considered. You must have weekend availability.
Essential
Weekend work.
Desirable
Ability to drive quad bike.
Driving licence.
Ability to drive and operate tractor.
Ability to operate chainsaw.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-40 per week
Salary: £11.00 per hour
