The Opportunity:
A unique role to be part of a very progressive and forward thinking dairy enterprise. You will be involved with managing a 300 cow Holstein herd, aiming to achieve top class standards in the areas of hygiene, herd health, fertility and general husbandry.
The role will include milking cows, scraping out and bedding up. General farm tasks will vary from day to day, from fencing to ferrying at silage time, chopping logs to clamp management, general farm maintenance to grazing management.
The business is in the process of planning and making a significant investment in the dairy business infrastructure utilising the latest advances in automation, cow comfort and sustainability and you will be involved in shaping and delivering this project.

Skills Required:
Practical experience of managing young stock
Excellent communication skills
Numerate & IT literate.
