General Farm Worker Apprentice

Our apprenticeship programme will provide you with an opportunity to work within the colleges Land Based, Animal and Equine Directorate at Suffolk Rural Campus, Otley, enabling you to develop core skills and enhance your experience. Upon completion of your role as a General Farm Worker Apprentice, you will have been trained in the skills employers want, helping to enhance the choices available to you in your future career.
A requirement of this role is for you to work evening and weekend shifts, as determined by the line manager. The role may require you to work unsupervised at times and therefore we are looking for someone with a good initiative and can do attitude.
To apply you should have a Level 2 or equivalent in English and Maths or a Grade 3/D/ Level 1 with a commitment to achieving a Level 2 as part of your apprenticeship. An essential contractual requirement of this fixed-term role is to effectively follow an Individual Learning Plan with the aim to complete a Level 2 apprenticeship standard.
